8 Star Cafe: Your Destination for Authentic Korean BBQ in Yucca Valley

I went here last night with my little family for dinner. Excellent customer service, food was Delicious, the environment was very clean with beautiful plants in every corner filling the space with positive energy . Menu was big and easy to read with so many great choices! The man who took our order and served our food was very polite, and efficient. He had a FULL house and still managed to get everything out on a timely fashion, making sure our water was filled and we had everything we needed! I WILL DEFINITELY BE BACK!

8 Star K Restaurant Yucca Valley, California We do not often come across Korean restaurants when traveling through small towns, but we found just that in Yucca Valley, California. We are used to enjoying Korean cuisine in San Diego and other large cities, yet this small restaurant serves food that is genuinely delicious. The kimchi is especially flavorful, and I was told it is made by the owner. This was actually our second visit, and our first experience was exceptional. Their dishes could easily rival some of the best Korean restaurants in San Diego, and we have an entire street of Korean dining establishments back home. The banchan is fresh and well-prepared. For an appetizer, we ordered the pan‑fried dumplings, or mandu, which were cooked nicely. This time, I ordered the pork cutlet, served with rice, cabbage salad, and banchan. The pork was a bit thin, but still tender and seasoned well. We also ordered the vegetable yakisoba, which came with three sides. The noodles were cooked perfectly and seasoned just right. They offer many popular Korean dishes, including Galbi (short rib BBQ), Spicy Pork Bulgogi, Tteokbokki, Japchae, Ramyeon, Bibimbap, several soups, and of course, Korean fried chicken. Unfortunately, they were unable to make the kimchi pancake during this visit, but hopefully next time. Overall, the food is delicious and the service is consistently good. We truly enjoy dining here, especially since we love Korean cuisine, and we will definitely return whenever we are back in the area.

Delicious food great service. Maybe add some soft music in the background and a changing table for babies in the bathroom. They hooked up with the fried shrimp felt like a double portion. I didn’t take a pic I was too hungry.

Exceptional staff, REAL Korean cuisine (lived in HCBC, ROK for 2 years, it's the real deal) and decent prices for the location. Will definitely enjoy another meal here again! The Hot Bibimbap & Fried Mandu way perfect.

I had a fantastic meal at this Korean restaurant! The kimbap was incredibly delicious—perfectly rolled and packed with fresh ingredients. The homemade pork cutlet was a standout! Even the next morning, it was still so good and flavorful. The tofu soup was another highlight—rich, comforting, and absolutely delightful. Everything tasted authentic and made with care. The service was friendly and attentive, making the experience even better. I’ll definitely be back for more!"

Had crave for Asian food in Joshua Tree area and this Korean resto did the job! We ordered Korean fried chicken and tho it looked a bit uncommon than all the other Korean fried chicken we had, it was super crispy, juicy, and perfectly seasoned.

Visited here first time and everything we ordered are delicious, especially the fried chicken wings so tender and crispy. The lady working there was very friendly as well. Food came out promptly. If you’re in town and love Korean food don’t miss out this gem.
